Finished!!!

It is now 3:57, and I am home and officially finished with not only my school year, but also my teaching career (for the time being, anyway). Although there is indeed an element of bitter-sweet emotions for me, mostly I feel excited about the change. And being as the decision has come out of many hours of prayer, I feel at peace about it, too. I know God has plans for us, and I can't wait to see what new doors will open. Right now, no solid plans are made for next year, but my wheels are turning and my hopes are brimming. For the time being, though, I plan on enjoying my summer with my husband, kicking it off with an anniversary trip to New York in a week.

  1. Congratulations!!! I am so excited to see what the next phase brings you. I am going to call this Phase 5.5. You and Rob have been acting like adults for a couple of years now, especially with that house, but this seems like a fresh start. New York is going to be great and I can't wait until you visit me!!!!!! Oh yeah, and Eclipse is 27 days, 7 hours, 44 minutes, 30 seconds away!!!! K now, 9 seconds

  2. Hi Friend! Woohoo! That's sounds fantastic! Ben said we should celebrate with margaritas since you are both done, for now... however I think Rob and I could celebrate with lemonade and you can Ben can celebrate with double margaritas :)

Yes, I am reading Eclipse again... I wanted to read all of them but I read at about 1/4 the speed that you read, so I knew I couldn't get through them all. SO Excited for Eclipse though!! It's so close! Let's get together before you leave for NY!
